Teiga was born in July 2017 from the will of the four founding partners to merge their respective skills in a single productive environment.
Since we are all related to the culture of Liguria, as a name for our company we chose a term of the genoese dialect which means “pod”.
The Teiga team members are:
Cristina De Ambrosi. Born in 1975. In 2005 she graduates in physics at the University of Genoa. She expanded her biomedical knowledge by working for several years in the health area and obtaining a master degree in Bioengineering. From 2008 to 2014 she is a research fellow and participates in several European projects. She is currently a Computer Science Teacher in Secondary School within which she is part of the Digital Innovation Team. She also deals with external counseling and training on occupational safety. For Teiga she is Senior Scientist and Team Leader for the biomedical projects.
Anna Ferrarazzo. Born in 1976. In 2003 she graduates in DAMS at the University of Turin. For some years she runs her independent bookstore. She writes poems, short stories, film and comic book scripts and she creates digital paintings. From the Academic Year 2012-2013 she is lecturer at the University of the Three Ages of Arquata Scrivia-Grondona. She is interested in studying literature and popular traditions and she is passionate about Japanese culture and animated cinema. She is a compulsive gatherer of books and comics. For Teiga she is Graphic Design Consultant and Editor.
Andrea La Camera. Born in 1974. He obtains the master degree in Physics in 2006 and the PhD in Computer Science in 2011 at the University of Genoa. He has been a post-doc researcher from 2011 to 2017 where he focused on astronomical image processing, developing methods and software. He is passionate about astronomy and science outreach since 1993. For Teiga he is Senior Scientist and Senior Programmer.
Marcello Ravenna. Born in 1975. He is currently CEO of Teiga and of a company that deals with events and marketing of play-educational materials. Always fond of software, he started programming with his first Spectrum computer when he was fourteen and he never stopped. He deals with educational robotics by organizing courses and he has been coach of Robotics of the ITTL Nautico San Giorgio Institute of Genoa for years. For Teiga he is Senior Programmer and CEO.
